Based on Primary Mortgage Market Survey released today by Freddie Mac.

Results were released today by Freddie Mac based on a recent official survey stating that mortgage rates for both short and long term loans up to 30 years, are at a four-week low.

This week’s Freddie Mac Figures are as follows:

The 30 year fixed rate has an average of 4.71%*, compared to last week’s 4.77%*. During this time last year it averaged 5.06%*

The 15 year fixed averaged 4.08%*, compared to last week’s 4.13%*. During this time last year it averaged 4.45%*

A 5 year adjustable ARM averaged 3.72%*, compared to last week’s 3.75%*. This time last year it averaged 4.32%*
